Apologies for the fireworks

Thank you all for supporting us at our Classical Concert Saturday 25th July.

We apologise to all, for the lack of fireworks at the end of what was an incredible evening of music and flying.

Although we had booked the fireworks it would appear that the firework company had a different date marked in their calendar to us.

As the fireworks are normally set up on the day and in another field, no one had noticed this oversight. When we contacted the company they desperately tried

To set up a display, but it was far too late in the end to organise anything safely. It was then decided to bring the balloonists in and provide a synchronised Balloon Glow instead of the fireworks.

We do understand that the lack of fireworks was a real shame, however to have four Balloon Glows was spectacular and we thank the teams involved for pulling out all the stops to provide this for us.
Once again we apologise for this, but hoped you enjoyed the remainder of your evening.
